TECNA, the most important Ceramic Machinery fair in the world, has held a new edition, at a time shrouded in market uncertainty.
Geopolitical and socio-economic situations have a very direct impact on this market, to which is now added the derivative of climate change and the need to produce with less or no environmental impact.
2024 is being a particularly delicate year with these three situations, which caused strong uncertainty about what could happen in this edition of TECNA.
After the closing of this edition, we can assure that the market has changed uncertainty for excitement and that is always a very positive symptom.
At People&Technology, during this edition of TECNA, we have placed special emphasis on showing our technology to synchronize printers, through our BACKTRACK. This process allows a unique QR code to be printed for each piece, on the back of the tile. This code can then be read by the different printers that make up the digital decoration process, which allows each tile to be uniquely identified.
In this way, synchronisation between all the machines is 100% guaranteed.
This technology also allows any other information to be printed on the back of the tile, such as the tile model, the country of manufacture, any logo, etc.
As is usual in our company, head cleaning has also been very important.
